Is versatile in the respect that it can be installed horizontally; to give a smooth edge to tiled bath hobs or benchtops, or alternatively vertically to facilitate a round edge on wall junctions where both sides are tiled.
Half round trim can also be used as a form of capping to finish off wall tile installations that are not fully tiled, with the ability to ‘hide’ unsightly cuts.
